HP’s branch in France is now offering a new Wi-Fi-only Touchpad version that touts a new 1.5 GHz dual-core processor under the hood, 64 GB onboard storage memory and the option for a new “glossy white” unit.
The original Wi-Fi only models of the HP Touchpad also cut off prices to $399 for the 16 GB and $499 for the 32 GB versions.
It is likely that the new 64 GB version will start with a price tag of $599 price when it launches in the U.S. market; however, the faster 1.5 GHz dual-core processor may add more bucks to it.
For comparison, the $399 and $499 Wi-Fi-only HP TouchPad versions have 1.2 GHz dual-core processor only.
The HP TouchPad currently faces tough competition from Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS tablets.
